I hope everyone had a wonderful fourth of July.
For me, it was a sobering weekend. With the launch of Nightmares From Eberus, I was hoping to see an outpouring of fan support as I have for every other launch I've had. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.
I was taught a valuable lesson and believe me, dear reader, I've learned it well.
I know now that you don't want e-book exclusives. Many of you are still "old school". Rather than having some electronic substitute, you want to have the book end your hands, feel the glossy cover, and smell the printed page.
I understand that now, as does my publishing company, DLT Atlantis Publishing.
So, I'm going to make two major announcements today.
First, Nightmares From Eberus will be released as a paperback in September. Stay tuned to this website for an exact date of release.
Second, I'm going to make all e-book editions of all of my books absolutely free (except on Amazon, which requires they at least be 99 cents if you're not a big time publisher).
Annuna and Ancient Rising are set to free immediately and as soon as the paperback is launched for Eberus, the price for the e-book version will also be set to Free.
Some will question this decision - why would anyone buy the book if it can be had for free?
For the same reason as why Eberus failed this weekend. You want the paperback.
Once folks sample the work on their e-reader or iphone, they'll want the real thing in their hands. It's happened time and time again, those who sell their e-books for free (or nearly free), see a dramatic sales in their paper sales.
I hope this decision is pleasing to you and I also that the writing will attract new fans to my work.
Thanks for your continued support!

I have to admit, when I signed up to win your book, I thought it was a physical book. So, I was intimidated
when I read my email and realized it was an E-book. I've never even thought about reading via e-book. I'm old school and read a lot and so I will figure out a way to read it this way; however I do look forward to reading the stories. I love this line of reading and look forward to it. Michelle
